Wolverine's cold-molded version of William Atkins' classic Handy Andy.

Wolverine has experience with wood composite (cold-molded) boat construction and is moving into welded aluminum. Currently building Panga 14 to Transport Canada standards. Please see below.

Wolverine would be pleased to quote on partial or full builds up to 30' in welded aluminum or wood composite (cold-molded) construction from proven designers such as:

Wolverine can work with design data in various formats, either full CAD definition of plates and components that can be cut on a laser or waterjet, to a set of lines and table of offsets that require full lofting.

Current Build

14′ Panga Skiff designed by Cerny Yacht Design

Working with Cerny Yacht Design of Annapolis, Maryland, we set out to create an efficient, seaworthy, and easy-to-handle aluminum skiff. Although there is an abundance of aluminum skiffs in this size range, this one had to be different. First, this boat was to be designed around a 9.9 hp gasoline outboard with the ability to cruise at 14 knots. This was accomplished using lightweight aluminum construction, a relatively narrow waterline beam, and the unique hull shape seen in the Japanese Panga fleet. The second difference was that she must have a handsome appearance not found on the average aluminum skiff. The curved sheer line, rounded vertical bow shape, and the addition of varnished mahogany or teak accomplished this goal while adding a feeling of warmth and comfort.
